Day 01: NJP/Bagdogra to Darjeeling
Our representative cordially receives you on arrival at Siliguri (NJP R St. / Bagdogra
IXB) and helps you to board the car. The journey to Darjeeling follows the traditional
Hill Cart Road runs all along the forested hills, small villages and beautiful tea
gardens. We assist you to check in at hotel. Get refreshed and have free leisure
evening. We recommend a relaxed evening and short walk around The Mall
to enjoy the Typical Hill life of Darjeeling Town in a painted landscape. Car
Service Till drop at Hotel
Day 02: Darjeeling
Early morning visit to
Tiger Hill at 8442ft above sea level to
experience the unforgettable sight of Sunrise over the Kunchenjungha Mountains.
Visit
Ghoom Monastery – one of the oldest Monasteries in Darjeeling
and also
Batasia Loop – the picturesque garden and War Memorial
with the backdrop of snow ranges – on your way back to hotel.

Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park
(Closed on Thursday) to see some rare collection of high altitude
Himalayan species like Snow leopard, clouded Leopard, Siberian Tiger, Red Panda
and many rare mammal and birds in the nature surroundings. Visit
Himalayan Mountaineering
Institute (Closed on Thursday) to see the priceless collection of mountaineering
gears used by legendary climbers in the Himalayas. After that we take you to the
Tea garden on the undulating valleys for viewing the scenic landscape
and tea plucking and processing (seasonal) then proceed to
Tenzing rock and
Gombu Rock for some fun rock climbing activities. Now we take you to
the Tibetan
Refugee center(Closed on Sunday) and
Bhutia Basti
to procure the traditional handicraft items made by the local people. Visit
Ava Art Gallery that
houses the unique art and
embroidery works of Mrs. Ava Devi
. Back to Hotel for Lunch.

a leisure evening at the Mall
Day 03 : Darjeeling to Pelling (Drive: 130 KMS/ 04 HOURS)
Optional: After breakfast go for a fascinating toy train joy
ride to Ghoom – the highest station in India. The heritage steam toy
train runs through the zig zag trails along the road to Ghoom and back to Darjeeling
after 1.5hrs of unforgettable journey. Timing 9AM to 11AM, Now
we drive to Pelling in West Sikkim. Pelling – a small tourist hub in the West Sikkim
hills known for serene holy lakes, old Monasteries and pristine landscape. Pelling
sprawled at 6100ft (1830M) offers one of the most amazing views of Kunchenzungha
Range. We assist you to check in at hotel. Free afternoon for a leisure walk along
the misty track through pine forest. Car service till drop at Hotel
Day 04: Pelling
After breakfast we take you to the famous and one of the most important monasteries
in Sikkim- the Pemayangtse Monastery- the seat of the Nyingma Order
of Tibetan Buddhism built by Lhatsun Chempo in the 17th Century. The monastery contains
numerous antique idols and objects of worship and is filled with wall paintings
and sculptures. The most astounding feature is a painted wooden structure of Zantho
Pelri – the Heavenly Palace of Guru Rinpoche. Now we take you to legendary Lake
at Khecheopalri (25kms). The Holy lake surrounded by dense forests
is believed to have the power of wish fulfilling. Although the lake is surrounded
by rich forests even a single leaf is not seen floating at the middle water. Legend
has it that the birds pick up the leaves that float on the holy lake. It is also
a prominent place for the bird watchers. Visit Kunchenjungha Falls
and Rimbi Falls two magnificent perennial waterfalls
on the way – the must see place for tourists. Back to Pelling. After lunch we take
you to a drive to Dentham Valley about an hour drive from Pelling.
Visit Tsangey Falls and take some photographs of the gorgeous falls.
Also visit Sinsore Bridge – the highest bridge in Sikkim. Back
to Pelling in the afternoon and have a relaxed evening watching at the Mighty Kunchenjungha
from your Hotel. Car Service 8.30AM to 4PM .

Day 05: to Gangtok (Drive: 135KMS / 04 HOURS)
After breakfast we proceed to Gangtok.We assist you to check in at hotel. Get refreshed
and have free leisure evening. We recommend a relaxed evening and short walk around
The Mall to enjoy the typical Hill City life of Gangtok in the twilights. Car
service Till drop at Hotel
Day 06: Gangtok to Tsongo Lake
After breakfast we take you to famous Tsongo Lake at 12000ft (3600M). You have whole
day to enjoy snow and Yak ride at the scenic high altitude alpine lake near Indo-Tibet
border. The 1 km long and 15m deep lake is considered sacred to the local people.
Have fun with snow and enjoy exciting Yak ride around the lake. Back to Hotel by
2.30 PM for lunch and have a leisure afternoon or roam around the market for personal
activities.
(Optional trip for Indian tourists to legendary Baba Mandir and
Nathula Pass on Indo-China border can be arranged on specific days on specific request

Day 07: Gangtok to Lachung (Drive: 124KMS / 06 HOURS)
Your tour to North Sikkim starts today. Have breakfast and proceed to Lachung
by 8.30AM. Visit Tashi View Point on the way for panoramic view
of the snow peaks. As the journey continues from Gangtok, the route
meanders through small villages flanked by fields and valleys until it hits the
forest grove of Kabi Langchuk. Shinghik comes next with its promises
of one of the most glorious views of Kunchanjungha. Situated at an altitude of over
4000ft Singhik offers a desired break to the travelers on the way to Lachen or Lachung
for the magnificent view of Kunchenjungha. We will have our lunch on the way. Visit
Chungthang- the confluence of Lachen Chu and Lachun Chu (river)
and Vimnala falls water falls on your way to Lachung. Reach Lachung
in the afternoon. Check in at Hotel and have free evening. Car Service Till

typical village people of Tibetan origin
Day 08: Lachung to Yumthang and Back to Lachung
Today morning at 8.30AM we take you to Yumthang (24kms) – the valley
of flowers at 12000ft (3600M). The journey from Lachung to Yumthang offers an unforgettable
virgin landscape covered with rhododendron bushes and 108 other types of Orchids
which bloom in different colours from April to May. The entire area goes under snow
during November to March. The hot springs and mesmerizing scene with yaks grazing
on flower - carpeted meadows on the backdrop of snow peaks are the added attractions.
Spend some spellbound time at the valley and return to Lachung. Lunch at Hotel After
Lunch roam around the little village on the bank of Lachung river – one of the sources
of Tista, and enjoy the beauty of nature that surrounds you. Also visit to the small
Monastery at Lachung. Car service: 7.30Am to 12.00noon.(Optional
visit to Yumesamdong (15300ft, 4600M) 26kms further Yumthang close
to Tibetan border and to Katao, 25kms from Lachung at 15000ft (4500M)
can be arranged on special request with add on cost. Both of these places are famous
for the snow view and landscape beauty.)
Day 09: Lachung - Gangtok (Drive: 124 KMS / 06 Hours)
After Breakfast we proceed to Gangtok via Chunthang. Reach Gangtok in the afternoon.
Check in at Hotel and relax. Car service till drop at Gangtok Hotel Suggested
evening activities: Visit to M G Marg, the busy market of Gangtok, for shopping
and having Sikkimese delicacy at the local restaurant
Day 10: Gangtok – Bagdogra (Drive: 125KMS / 04 HORUS)
Today after breakfast we take you to a short city tour in Gangtok. Visit
Government
Institute of Cottage Industry (Closed on Sunday, 2nd Saturday) where
beautiful souvenirs like carpets, hand carved tables (choktses), traditional handcrafts,
furniture, hand looms carpets and other products are produced & exhibited for
sale.
Visit Orchid House to see or buy some rare orchids and ornamental
plants. We also take you to
Sikkim Research Institute of Tibetology,
which holds world's largest collection of books and rare manuscripts on the subject
of Mahayana Buddhism plus many religious works of art and incredibly finely executed
silk embroidered Thangkas (paintings). Just beside the institute is the
Dodurl
Chorten encircled by 108 prayer wheels built by late Trulsi Rimpoche
in 1945-46. This is one of the most important and biggest stupas found in Sikkim.

Back to Hotel and check out. Leave Gangtok by 12.00Noon.
